First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit

This week, the First Time Home Buyer, Tax Credit seems to have been extended. The new extension deadline to receive the $8,000 tax credit is April 2010. On Thursday, U.S. News and World Report published the following...

"An extension of the $8,000 first-time home buyer tax credit appears all but certain after the Obama administration called on Congress to give house hunters more time to claim the popular tax perk. The move comes shortly after Senate lawmakers stuck an agreement to not only push back the measure's looming deadline but expand it to allow current homeowners and more affluent buyers to claim the credit."

The article goes on to define five things you need to know about this development. You can find this very informative article at: U.S. News.com For additional information contact me at 773.519.1340. I look forward to working with you.
